We are the Kids Disco Party Experts!!! More than a DJ, we run Corporate Kids Discos for Events, Kids-at-work Days, Fetes, Festivals, Play Centres, Hotels, RSL Clubs – anything with children 1 to 16!

Our professional entertainers provide engaging performances that are fun for all ages, making sure both boys and girls have a great time!

What we do:

  • As leaders in the entertainment industry, we offer more than just a DJ experience. Our entertainer will run a structured disco and singing event, turning every child into a popstar sensation.
  • Our professional entertainer will teach fun dance moves and encourage the children’s freestyle creativity. They’ll also invite enthusiastic children to sing on real microphones, keeping everyone engaged and minimising distractions.

FAQ's

We have a mixed group of both girls and boys, will they all be engaged throughout the disco?

Yes, definitely. We have been doing these discos since 2003 and over this time we have developed the exact combination of songs and activities to keep both boys and girls completely engaged and having a great time. All of our entertainers have undergone an extensive training program, some are even studying childcare or have childcare qualifications. We can also tailor the party to suit the children at your disco!

We have over 60 children attending. Is your entertainer going to be able to deal with such a large group?

Yes, we always say the more the merrier. The entertainers are experienced and trained to engage big groups of children at one time. At most of our school discos there can be up to 300 children at a time.

Can you have the disco outdoors?

Always have a wet weather plan if your event is outdoors. We do find that outdoor discos don’t seem to work as well as indoor discos as children tend to get easily distracted in big open spaces. If you really want to have your event outdoors, we do have some regulations to comply with for our Public Liability Insurance. We cannot set up on grass as all electrical cords must be taped down and both the equipment and children must be undercover. If your event is during the day, all the children need to wear hats, sunscreen and have regular drink breaks.

What time will the entertainer arrive?

Your entertainer will arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled disco start time (this is with an allocated car spot within 20 metres of the disco). This gives you an opportunity to ask questions, give any special song requests or discuss any requirements.

Do the children have a break?

In all our 1.5-hour and 2-hour events, the children will have a 15-minute drink break to replenish their energy to start again for the second session.  Please let us know if this is not suitable for your event.

Do I need to provide anything for the entertainer?

Yes, the entertainer will need is a small table near a power point to plug the equipment in.

Are the entertainers ‘screened’?

Yes, all the staff and entertainers of Bop till you Drop have been approved with a ‘Working with Children Check’.

Do I need to provide a parking spot for the entertainer?

Yes. Your entertainer will need an allocated parking spot as close to your venue as possible. There is a lot of heavy equipment to unload (and reload) and we want the disco to run as smoothly as possible and on time. Please note you will need to pay for parking should free parking not be available. Also, please ensure you give the office clear directions on exactly where your venue is located.

What if someone hurts themselves, are you insured?

Bop till you Drop has $20 million dollars Public Liability Insurance.

What decorations do I need?

We provide two fantastic disco lights; these are really effective in creating a spectacular disco atmosphere. If you want any other form of decoration, feel free, however please avoid free floating balloons, they are a big distraction, unless stuck on the walls. Also, its best to avoid chairs in the disco space.

Will the children participate in the disco the whole time? Should I hire a face painter or jumping castle as well?

You really don’t need any other entertainment to be occurring at the same time as the disco. Children love the disco and will benefit from all the structured activities if you give them one thing to do at a time. However, if you really want face painters or jumping castles, please schedule to have them before or after the disco.
