Science Incursion Structure:
Embark on a journey of fun and learning with Bop’s Science Incursions, perfect for your Vacation Care/OSHC centre! Our interactive activities are designed to captivate young minds with a blend of enjoyment and education. Perfect for mixed-age groups and suitable for both boys and girls, our incursions offer an enriching experience where curiosity and discovery come together.
What we do:
- Our Science Entertainer will come fully equipped with everything needed for an engaging educational experience. All you need to provide are tables for the enthusiastic young scientists to gather around; chairs are optional.
- They will then demonstrate a variety of exciting experiments, from launching rockets to igniting volcanos. For a preview of the thrilling experiments, check out our ‘experiment tab.’
- After the demonstration, each child will have the opportunity to become a scientist themselves, working in small teams to recreate the fascinating experiments.
- Our entertainer ensures a diverse range of activities that cater to the different ages and interests of all the children are conducted.

Travel Surcharge: Travel is calculated from Adelaide CBD.
Depending on location, travel fees will be quoted on enquiry.

- Lab coats for each child (if under 30 children)
- PA system, disco lights and microphones if choosing the disco add-on
FAQ's
We have a mixed group of both girls and boys, will they all be engaged throughout the science incursion?
Yes, definitely. We have perfected the exact combination of activities to keep both boys and girls completely engaged and having a great time. All of our entertainers have undergone an extensive training program, some are even studying childcare or have childcare qualifications.
Can the incursion be run outdoors?
We can run this incursion either indoors or outdoors but always have a wet weather plan if your event is outdoors. All we need are tables for the kids to stand around to do the experiments plus easy access to water. If you’re choosing the disco add on, that would need to be indoors.
What time will the entertainer arrive?
Your entertainer will arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled disco start time (this is with an allocated car spot within 20 metres from the disco). This gives you an opportunity to ask questions, give any special instructions or discuss any requirements.
Are the entertainers ‘screened’?
Yes, all the staff and entertainers of Bop till you Drop have been approved by the ‘Working with Children Check’.
Do the children have a break?
In all our 1.5-hour and 2-hour events, the children will have a 10-minute drink break to replenish their energy to start again for the second session. Please let us know if this is not suitable for your event.
Do I need to provide anything for the entertainer?
All the entertainers will need is a table to conduct the experiments on (big enough or multiple tables for the kids too). No chairs are required.
Do I need to provide a parking spot for the entertainer?
Yes, your entertainer will need an allocated parking spot as close to your venue as possible. We want the incursion to run as smoothly as possible and on time. Please note you will need to pay for parking should free parking not be available. Also, please ensure you give the office clear directions on exactly where your venue is located.
What if someone hurts themselves, are you insured?
Bop till you Drop has $20 million dollars Public Liability Insurance.
